雷军，博士，教授。2004年获四川大学英语语言文学学士学位；2010年获新加坡南洋理工大学国立教育学院应用语言学硕士学位；2011年获西安外国语大学外国语言学及应用语言学（翻译方向）硕士学位；2016年获新加坡南洋理工大学国立教育学院应用语言学博士学位。2015年国家优秀自费留学生奖学金获得者。研究兴趣主要包括学术用途英语、语料库语言学以及外语教育技术等，相关研究发表在ELT Journal、English for Specific Purposes、Higher Education、Journal of English for Academic Purposes、Language Learning、Language Learning & Technology、Language Policy、System、TESOL Quarterly、《外语界》等国际、国内重要学术期刊上。兼任Computers & Education、Ethics & Behavior、International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism、Higher Education、Journal of English for Academic Purposes、Language Policy、System以及TESOL Quarterly等国际权威学术期刊审稿专家。
Jun Lei received his Ph.D. in applied linguistics from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2016. He was awarded the Dean’s Commendation for Research seven times during his Ph.D. study. He also won the 2015 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad, an award granted by the China Scholarship Council in recognition of the outstanding academic accomplishments of self-financed Chinese students studying overseas. Jun Lei is currently a professor in the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ningbo University, China. Before joining Ningbo University, he was a Yunshan Youth scholar at Guangdong Foreign Studies University from 2016 to 2019.
His research interests have revolved around the role of English in an increasingly internationalised academia, including English academic writing, English as a medium of instruction in higher education, and English for research publication purposes. He has examined Chinese university students’ and instructors’ understandings of plagiarism in English academic writing, the policies and practices of English-medium instruction in Chinese higher education, and Chinese doctoral students’ scholarly publishing experiences and practices. His publications have appeared in ELT Journal, Higher Education, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Language Learning, Language Learning & Technology, Language Policy, System, and TESOL Quarterly. He has served as an ad-hoc manuscript reviewer for such journals as Computers & Education, Higher Education, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Language Policy, System, and TESOL Quarterly.
